The beauty we find in the wondrous creation of the earth is a reflection of God’s perfection and glory. When we see the delicate colors in the butterfly, the beautiful display of the peacock and birds, the mountains, the oceans, we see God as the supreme artist. Observing the beauty of this planet is a window into God’s divine nature. Everyone should be able to clearly see the hand of God in all creation.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20
When we think of the grandeur of the universe, it is beyond what our most creative thoughts can imagine. The physical universe contains more than 100 billion galaxies and each of these galaxies has a diameter of billions of miles and each contains billions/trillions of stars. God’s glory is certainly present in our universe and the joy it brings to us when we contemplate the wisdom and beauty of this work is a precious gift. The beauty displayed affirms the care God has made so that everyone can marvel at his creation.
God gave us a beautiful universe and put each of us on earth for a purpose to carry out the work for which we were created.
