Awaken the Joy Within You

Awaken the Joy Within You

What is true Joy, what does it feel like and how do you get it? Joy is a wonderful gift. It is possible to have a bad day, to face difficult challenges in life, to have significant health problems, but still have Joy in your heart and feel its vibrations throughout your soul. We have Joy when we are totally confident of God’s presence in our life. Joy is the fruit of the Holy Spirit and it is ours for the asking.

Joy comes from knowing our true self, our inner being. It is your spirit without fear and not trying to control everything. Joy is a natural state of effortlessness. When you have joy, no matter what your circumstances, you feel grateful, protected and surrounded by a presence of love. You must transcend your fears and be aware of your inner self. Then you will have comfort, guidance and Joy in your life.

As we open our hearts and consciousness to God, we become more self aware and open to the path that God has set before us. As we develop a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit, we are aligned with this path. The Joy will flow into you and it is God’s pleasure to transmit this divine quality to you.

Joy is a secret treasure that comes from the Holy Spirit. Nourish the fruit of joy and let it grow and establish itself in your life. This can be a great source of strength and nothing can take it away from you. Jesus said, “Don’t let anyone steal your joy.” You own the Joy inside of you.

“We change the world not by what we say or do but as a consequence of what we have become,”  (Hawkins,David)

Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”
